The Rise of The Gold Line

The Gateway Corridor Gold Line will receive a $1 million federal grant to help plan for development around 13 proposed bus rapid transit stations between downtown St. Paul and Woodbury. The grant is from a new Federal Transit Administration pilot program for transit-oriented development planning.

The Gold Line is a proposed $485 million transit project similar to the Blue Line and Green Line light rail services, except it would run buses on a dedicated roadway instead of trains on tracks.
